Ciel Candles are HIGHLY fragrant soy wax candles made with the highest quality ingredients. Soy wax is an environmentally friendly, petroleum free wax. Soy candles produce 90% less soot than regular paraffin candles. Soot is very unhealthy and can coat your walls and furniture so it should be avoided. Not only are soy candles much safer, they also distribute more fragrance and last 50% longer than paraffin candles. Soybean oil lowers the melting point of the candle resulting in a larger liquid wax pool around the candle wick. This results in cooler burning candles and faster scent dispersion.
